Prof. Constantin Roman - The Author is a Romanian-born British national with a Masters degree from the University of Bucharest and a doctorate from Cambridge University, where he was a Scholar. After Ceausescu’s fall, he was a Visiting Professor at his old school, the University of Bucharest (1993) which awarded him the honorary degree of Professor Honoris Causa. (1998) whilst Romania’s President Emil Constantinescu (1996-2000) in recognition of the author’s achievements made him a Commander of the Order of Merit (Culture).
